In early 1997, the landscape of theatrical sci fi films was relatively stark.  But coming hot on the heels of Léon: The Professional, Director Luc Besson envisioned a wholly imaginative and kinetic universe that left audiences craving more.  Combining elements of cyberpunk, space travel, sci-fi action, deep lore and original music, The Fifth Element was truly a landmark achievement.

Come relive the magic with a full theatrical screening of the film, followed by a deep dive into the post production sound work by Supervising Sound Editor Mark Mangini, MPSE and more members of the post production team!
