    It is awards season again and we are excited to announce that submissions will be open on November 23, 2015, and will close on January 8, 2016.  Since we are opening a bit later this year, we are not holding early and late submissions.

    The MPSE has lost a board member, supporter, and friend... The one of a kind Bruce Nazarian. Bruce helped guide our organization and our craft. He was an accomplished sound editor and musician as well as a friend to many in our industry. He will be missed.

  • Maciek Malish

    Regretful and with heavy hearts the Motion Picture Sound Editors (MPSE) are saddened to announce the passing of our friend and esteemed colleague, Maciek Malish.

    Maciek served on the MPSE Board for over eight years and played an important role in helping move the organization forward. He was a friend to everyone on the Board and we all loved and respected him.
